Obituary of Arne H. Anderson

Arne Har old Anderson, age 100 of Arlington Heights, IL, peacefully joined his lov ing wife, Violet in heaven on August 18, 2021. He was born on August 14, 1921, to Olga & Arne B. Anderson in Chicago, IL. When an infant the fam ily moved to Sheboygan Falls, WI where he later attended school, gradu ating from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1939. After serving in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, he married Violet M. Tengvall on 7/14/45. They moved to Madison, WI where he attended the University of Wisconsin, earning his degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1949. He worked at American Steel and Wire, Waukegan, IL; Tecumseh Products, New Holstein, WI; John Wood Company and Hercules subsidiary of Liquid-Pac, St.Paul, MN, retiring in 1984. He fulfilled his dream building his and Vi’s re tirement home on beautiful Lac Courte Oreilles, Hayward, WI. He enjoyed jig saw puzzles, following the news and playing cards, and he was indeed, a Handy Man! His family meant the world to him. Loving father of Linda (Wally) Weihe and Steve (Barbara) Anderson. Dear Grandfather of Brent (Laura) Anderson and Sheena (Phil) Horvath. Great grandfather of Scottlyn, Colt and Tate Hor vath and Dane Anderson and Sister Ethel Berg. A private family service was held with entomb ment at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sheboygan, WI. In lieu of flowers, planting a tree in Arne’s hon or or making a contribution to a charity of your choosing would be greatly appreciated.
