Mary, I'm shocked and saddened by the news of Paul's passing. He was a good man and will be missed by all. It seems like yesterday when we were at your parents house and you and your mom were showing me the beautiful fabric you had picked for your wedding dress. You were over the moon in love! I remember asking you what your last name would be and your dad did this cheer-like chant (that he was practicing and couldn't wait for the opportunity to use...) "It's.... "OK...OL...OW...iCZ...Okolowicz, Okolowicz, rah, rah, rah, yaaaay!!!!" It was so cute, and truth be known, I could always spell your name after that! Our love to you, Mary and our prayers for Paul.

This Picture reminds me of my Uncle Paul. He taught me to appreciate the beauty of "rocks"

Uncle Paul was the uncle everyone wishes they could have. He was always very generous. He had very unique collections and loved to share his riches.I remember specifically the “ROCKS”! I looked forward to visiting and always had so much fun exploring his amazing collection of beautiful gems and learning about their origin, rarity and value. I couldn’t wait to pick out the gems of my choice and always went home with a box of treasures. I am sure my love for jewelry came from my Uncle Paul! After I moved to Ma, Uncle Paul continued to show his generosity with sending my son sports cards of his favotire Boston teams. My Uncle Paul was a master story teller. He had a colorful way of telling stories of the past. It was always a wonderful trip down memory lane,of the Chicago neighborhoods,Catholic Schools and family stories. I could sit and listen to his stories for hours! He was a loving husband for 42 short years. I admire the love and commitment my Aunt and Uncle shared! I LOVE YOU

Dearest Uncle Paul - while there are many memories one can recall having been your nephew for 38 years now, I must say some of the most enjoyable ones always came when you would share stories of the past with us. Stories about "Busha" and remembering when Aunt Lottie, Sohpie, Vicky, and Val were young and telling me stories about my Grandpa and Grandma when they were young. You will be missed and only hope you are at peace! Love. Chris A.
