Passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at the age of 66. He was a longtime employee and recent retiree of the Bon-Ton Company (Carson, Pirie, Scott & Co., The Boston Store). Formerly of Chicago, he resided in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for many years. Beloved brother of Gerald and William Fabis and nephew of Joseph Vanecko. Loving uncle of Catherine Herron, Constance Herron, Julie (John) Reitinger, Janice (Dan) Gibbons, and James Herron. Cherished granduncle of Ian (Jessica) Bruckner, Nicole Glaser and Jacob Reitinger and dear friend of Jack Corbin. Preceded in death by his parents, Bruno and Anna Fabis; brother, Ronald Fabis; and sister, Joanna (James) Herron. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation in Milwaukee, WI at Prasser-Kleczka Bay View Chapel 3275 So. Howell Ave., Tuesday, October 20, 2015, from 4-8 PM. Eulogy Service at 7 PM. Visitation in Wheeling, IL at Kolssak Funeral Home 189 S. Milwaukee Ave., Wednesday, October 21, from 4-8 PM with funeral services Thursday, October 22, at 10 AM at Kolssak Funeral Home, followed by burial services at All Saints Cemetery.
