Ruth E. Traub, nee Benedict, age 93, of Glenview. Cherished wife of the late Robert B. Traub. Beloved mother of Kathleen, Robert, Richard (Jeri Ann) Traub, and Kimberlee Martin. Proud grandmother of Robbie, Richie, Mattie, Katie, Alec and Jack. Fond aunt of Bruce “Rusty”, Bob, Jim and Tom Wilbat. Two days ago Ruth was preceded in death by her sister and closest companion Dorothy Wilbat. The pair was inseparable in life and remain so in death. Visitation Thursday 3-8pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S Milwaukee Ave. Wheeling, IL. Funeral prayers Friday 9:15am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Life Celebration Mass St. Mary Church. 10 N Buffalo Grove Rd. Buffalo Grove, IL. Interment to follow All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Partners for Progress in honor of Jack Martin at www.partnersforprogressnfp.org or the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org would be appreciated.
