I knew Pan for past 2 years when I started in oncology department at Lovell VA. For last 2 years she and I shared lot of laughs, stories, fun moments and lunch time cooking tips. I miss you Pam!! May God give peace and solace to grieving husband Lee.
You will always be in our memories.

Dr. Pam Menas took care of me at James Lovell, she was my go to person and was unfailing responsive and kind - always. I am more sad than I can say, so I cannot imagine how sad her family and friends are at this difficult and grief stricken time. May the God of peace rain comfort in your hardest moments and may you know death for what it is, "The Inbreath of God." I will hold all of you in my thoughts and send energy your way as you traverse the world in this place of sorrow.

I miss you Pam. My day always starts with you in my office. My lunch reminder alerts me everyday to remind us to take time to eat, and take a break from our crazy work. That is always followed with a Lync message to you. And I won't be doing that anymore, you're gone forever, but never in my mind and heart. You are family to me, I spend more hours with you and our coworkers than my children.
Like you always said "I'll deal with the drug, and the rest is yours Ruby". We were a team! We will continue to carry on the superior standard of care you held for our patients.
Lee, my heart goes to you for loosing Pam. I can't imagine how you feel with all this right now. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Pam,
I am missing my best "work wife" every single day. I see your infectious smile and hear your soothing voice everywhere at work. All the patients you worked so hard to take care of, is heart broken that you left us so soon. Thank you so much for being the best mentor and friend anyone could ever ask for. The beautiful cowl you crocheted even with your painful fingers for my birthday, is keeping me warm everyday. When I wear it at work, I feel like you are with me and you will always be close to my heart. Our lunch breaks wont be the same without your amazing sense of humor and wittiness. I will always remember how you would bring extra lunch (even sometimes part of Lee's share) to feed me whenever you cooked something special.
I will cherish all the memories we had together for the last 2 years and try my hardest to make you proud.
Miss you so much and with lots of love,
Manjiri

I met Pam 35 years ago. She was the first person I thought of as a force of nature. Anyone who ever heard her sing knows what I’m talking about, but her spirit went far beyond her music.
We went to high school together, we were in each other’s weddings, and we got together often during our 20s as we worked towards finding our places in the world.
As we reached middle age, we continued to share our journey. Each of us forged new paths when the earlier ones didn’t quite work anymore. Pam went from delighting people with her musical talent to revealing a fierce intelligence and aptitude for science. It allowed her to share her compassion and a gift for healing.
I’m sure I thought 59 was old when Pam and I first met, but knowing her has taught me better. Pam was still a force of nature, and taken from us far too soon. Barton and I will always love and miss the woman he called “Sparky.” Lee, we hold you in our hearts.

Dear Pam,
You will remain my friend forever. Thank you for being my "mom" friend and teaching me about the finer things in life. Dooney and Bourke bags and 1000 count thread sheets for life! I will always wish we could have one more "salt-added" lunch together or one more gulab jamun at a new Indian restaurant. I am so honored to have memories with such an incredible woman and will always live to be more like you and make you my proud "mom" friend.
Miss you and love you,

A number of decades ago, I was in Chicago and I found a place that had some very curious entertainment. No one had really heard of karaoke at that time and I was absolutely fascinated! I returned to the establishment with my wife Madolyn, and two very good friends of ours, Lee and Pam. Pam was game and volunteered a solo (surprise, surprise). After she sang a version of ‘Summertime’, which by the way totally filled the room to overflowing with that Pam-voice and gave you chills, the crowd gave Pam a unanimous ovation.
That’s how I have always remembered her. (That is, not counting the time that I picked her up off the ground and her Pam-voice made an icy cold turn on me! “SET-ME-DOWN!”) Though we haven’t seen her in many years, we offer an ovation to her again now.
Pam and Lee are a significant part of Madolyn’s and my life and it will remain that way. Always.
We're so sorry, Lee that you are going through this. We care a lot about you.

Pam was one of my best friends in high school. We were in choir and many Wheeling High School productions. We both qualified for the State Individual Speech tournament in 1973. We kept in touch through college, and even a bit afterward. We had not been in touch in recent years. Just last week, my mom and I were remembering Pam and my antics together. I told my mom I was going to find Pam. I am so sad and offer you my deepest heartfelt sympathy. Pam had the voice of an angel, the courage of a lion, the humor of a comedienne and the compassion of a saint. She was the person I was closest to in high school, and we spent many nights sleeping over at each other's homes. I will miss her terribly and regret not trying to connect sooner. I am an International flight attendant for United Airlines and will be in Japan on the 15th and unable to attend any service. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you Lee and the rest of her family. I will keep her in my heart on Friday, remembering the wonderful times and memories that we shared! Restbin Peace my dear friend.

Pam and I met at Wheeling High School and quickly became friends through our association in music. She was not only incredibly gifted, but she was just a seriously nice person. Though we had not seen each other in many years, I thought of her often and fondly recalled our days on stage, the final being our senior year production of Man of La Mancha.
I know she will be greatly missed by many. May she rest in peace.
My sincerest condolences to her husband and family.

Being with Pam was always a time of joy, with lots of smiles, laughter, fun & sarcastic jokes, and hugs. Pam's smile and her eyes reflected her beautiful, loving heart. And Pam's voice ... what an amazing gift ! Pam sang so beautifully at our wedding--I remember my Dad telling me how touched he was when Pam sang the Our Father ... so touched, that he cried. We pray for you, Pam, and look forward to hearing your beautiful voice joined with the Angels.
Lee, our love, prayers and thoughts are with you.
