I spent most of my time in high school looking up to Eddie both on and off the field. He is an amazing athlete and leader who all of the younger guys could look up to because he always did everything with all of his ability. His positive, upbeat personalty was contagious to the people around him. I cant think of a time when I was with Eddie and wasn't smiling or laughing at something he said. He will for always be remembered for his ability to bring people together whether it was dodge ball or video games you know it was a good time because he was there. Eddie will be missed so much because he was always himself no matter who he was around.
The Scanlon family is in my thoughts and prayers

The Villalobos family is very sorry for your loss. He is a great friedn to my son Jorge and always had a positive outlook. I never had to worry about who my son hung out with because he had friends like Eddie he would hang out with. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire SCanlon family.

Back in the good old days of wildcat travel ball! We had such a blast together. I remember during a tournament in wisconsin when we were at a hotel and Nick Runge cut open his knee and we all blamed a pitcher on a team that we lost to and said he shot him lol but in reality it was eddie who accidentally pushed him down some stairs hahah i miss you Eddie...this is just another step in life. I'll see you soon my friend...i love you. My condolences to the Scanlon family.

It was nice to know Little Eddie from a baby in diapers and see him grow up as a handsome young man. He was so caring and gave BIG hugs; he will be missed. To the family, hold on to one another. Sorrows last for a season but, the love you shared with Little Eddie will last forever.
