Obituary of Barbara Haid

Barbara Ann Haid nee Kornacker age 89 of Libertyville. Passed into eternal life Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville, IL. She loved Chicago and dedicated twenty-five years working for Wells Lamont where she was known to be “stubborn about quality!” She moved to Libertyville in 2005. She was a meticulous home decorator, perfection being her signature mark. Helping her sister Elizabeth with doll shows was also a favorite activity. She was an excellent example of helpfulness, a creative and benevolent gift-giver, and enjoyed traveling with family. Barbara came from a large family of ten children. She was preceded in death by siblings Catherine, Magdalene (late George), John (Katherine), Dorothy, Evelyn, Joanna, and Joseph. Surviving sisters are Katherine (Robert) and Elizabeth. Loving mother of Barbara (Walter) Kuczak, Dorothy (the late William) Ueck, Renee (Gerald) Baugher. Affectionate grandmother of Tracy, Ryan, Susanne, Nancy, Brittany, and the late Shelina. She was a devoted great-grandmother to Lia, Tyler, Brooke, Lindsey, Cody, Riley, and Madison. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. The family thanks the Nursing Staff of Condell Medical Center for their excellent compassion and loving care.Visitation Friday June, 3rd 9:00 am at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S.
