Stavroula Gekas nee Thomas age 85 of Libertyville. Beloved mother of Connie (Doug) Hugdahl, Diana (Dan) Praljak and the late Dean Gekas. Proud Yiayia of Johnny, Lexi, Stephanie, Christy and Mike. Fond sister of George (Sarah) Thomas and the late Helen Manos. Dear aunt and cousin of many.
Visitation Sunday 3-7 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling. Friends and family will meet at 9:30 am Monday at Ascension Greek Orthodox Church, 1207 RIverwoods Road, Lincolnshire, followed by funeral services at 10:00 am.
