Obituary of Chad Shelton

Chad Elliott Shelton, age 27, was the victim of a violent home burglary on October 1st, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV. Chad was born in Park Ridge, IL on October 24th, 1988 to parents John and Dianne (Caldwell) Shelton. He graduated from Illinois State University and went on to receive his Masters of Fine Arts - Theater Arts degree from San Diego State University in May of 2016. He had just begun working in a career that he loved. Chad had an adventurous spirit and wanted to experience everything in life to the fullest. He could find humor in anything and always had a smile on his face. He was very outgoing and made friends everywhere he went. He will be forever missed. Chad is survived by his parents, John and Dianne (Caldwell) Shelton, sister Jessica (Mark) Shapiro, sister Sandy (Paul) Brown, brother Mike (Anna) Shelton, and grandparents Don and Phoebe Caldwell. He leaves behind his girlfriend, Andie Fitch. Chad was nephew to Denise, Don, Cheryl, Randy, Dawn, Basil, Brad, Jodi, and Julie. He was uncle to Ethan, Dane, Miranda, Michael, Allie, Aideen, Gavin, cousin to many and friend to all. He is preceded in death by grandparents Sylvia and John Shelton.
