Obituary of Patricia Donahue-Krueger

Patricia Jeanne Donahue-Krueger, age 64 of Arlington Heights passed just before the rain began on November 18th, 2016. Beloved wife of William Krueger for 33 years and loving mother of Christopher, Max, Mollie, and Tess. Pattie was many things throughout her lifetime; a psychologist, a teacher in the South Bronx, an artist, the list is seemingly endless, above all she was a kind and loving soul. She loved a good book and the sound of rain outside her window, she loved the arts and laughing at oversized appliances, most importantly she loved her family. She was self-sacrificing and known to “live vicariously” through her children, whom were the center of her life. She was always there to present a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen to your stories and problems, and would provide an answer with a kind heart. Her cleverness and wit were unmatched. She set an example of how one should treat others and gave those the benefit of the doubt. Pattie was an inspiration and a role model to many who knew her. The strength, grace and fierceness of this incredible women will never be forgotten. While the world may feel a little darker at the moment, and nothing will ever fill the void left by her, we will continue to live by her example and look at the world with optimism, hope, and love.
