Martin William Palzet (Bill) passed away peacefully on March 22, 2020, at the age of 72. He left this earth with a love for his family and a full heart. Bill was the son of Martin and Mary Margaret Palzet and father to Caroline Norman (Donald). Bill is survived by his wife Beth. Bill is also survived by his two step-sons David Palzet (Trisha) and John Gross (Iris). Bill is also survived by his sister, Susan Inman (Donald), sister, Mary Hellen (Dollie) Leeds, sister, Ann Doherty (Eugene), brother, John Palzet (Linda), sister, Patricia Palzet-Taylor (James), sister, Kathleen Nichols (Jeffery) 12 nieces and nephews, 13 great-nieces and nephews. He had a special love for his eight grandchildren, Naomi and Shella Norman, Charlie and Alyssa Gross, and Ella, Jack, Jayden, and Noah Palzet. Bill leaves a rich legacy behind including serving his country as an Air Force member. He loved his family and was the life of the party. “Uncle Billy” was the type of person to brighten the spirits of anyone around him and lived the Bible passage, “Love thy neighbor.” A volunteer at St. Joseph the Worker in Wheeling, IL, he devoted his time to serving others in need. His memory will be carried in the hearts of those who loved him.
