So sorry to learn of the death of Greg. He was a good man and we got to be friends because he delivered the mail on my street for as long as I can remember. He was very kind and I learned of his family and he of mine. He even liked my dog! I’m glad he enjoyed a tad of his retirement, I know he had many years planned. My heart goes out to his dear family. I have such fond memories of him. Rest In Peace friend! Theresa Kotecki

Kathy and family, We cannot say how very sorry we are. Greg was such a positive man who had this ever-present smile. We have worked along side Greg at Whisper Creek the past two years (Dave as a starter and Cindy in food and beverage). Greg was so very proud of his daughter's upcoming wedding and talked about it often. He even shared a picture of his beautiful daughter, Kim, with us. We will miss him beyond words. As the Director of Alumni Relations Emeritus, I offer you the sympathy and prayers of the Saint Viator High School community. Our hearts go out to all of you as you move through your journey of grief without being able to be comforted by the physical presence of family and friends. We are certainly proud to "claim" Greg as an alumnus given the way he “valued hard work and dedication and always put his family first.” We will remember Greg and celebrate the fact that Greg continues to be a member of our community. In late October a small plaque with Greg’s name will be placed on our wall in the Alumni Memorial Chapel. We hope you will be able to join us in prayer at our annual Alumni Memorial Mass that will be either the last Sunday of October or the first Sunday of November. May memories of Greg comfort you!
