Eugene “Gene” Engel, aged 70, of Ingleside. Devoted husband of 33 years to Stephanie. Dedicated father of Vickie (Christopher) Lach, Cheryl (Dave) Mayer, Fred (Surina) Lunsford, and the late Shirley Poole. Awesome grandpa of Hisa, Michael, Caitie, Eric, Joz, and Gracie. Great-grandpa of Jade. Visitation Monday, 3 pm – 8 pm, at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave (2 blocks south of Dundee Rd.) Wheeling. Life Celebration Service Tuesday 9:30 am at Kolssak Funeral Home. Interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles. In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society or Journey Care Hospice in Barrington, IL appreciated.
