Dear Thompson Family Members, I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mary Lou. She was a lovely lady, gracious, warm, friendly and had a great sense of humor. We arrived in Buffalo Grove only weeks before Joyce was born and were introduced to Mary Lou and Don by a mutual friend. From that time on I remember gatherings for family dinners, participation in St. Mary's Pass Port presentations as well as many other church functions and Don's Ordination to the Deaconate. What special times to be included in! I do believe the roll most important to her was being a Mother. Her family and religion came first. I am sure you will miss her, but know that she is still watching over you and will have her arms around you when most needed. Love and prayers. Mary Garbarini & Family

Dear family of Mary Lou, I've known your dear mom, grandmother, sister for a few years through our participation in a book club with other friends and neighbors. Mary Lou was always so gracious both when she was hosting our gathering & also when anyone of us did. Despite some health problems she always had a smile, told about her life and family & enjoyed everyone's input as we discussed and related to the book we were reading. We had lots of fun the last time we met at Panera & it's that image of her I want to remember - laughing and just being her loving self. My prayers go out to each of you as you work through your grief and also talk about the vivd happy times with your mom. I know you will keep her alive in your hearts. Today I'm sending a donation to "Doctors Without Borders" in memory of Mary Lou. Fondly, Marilyn Robbins
