Hearing the news that Marie had passed, was indeed sad news. Marie and I knew each other only briefly in 2018-2019 though our Bible Study Fellowship discussion group. While going about her life very quietly, her testimony of her trust in God and her joy of the Lord inspired us all. Everyone in our group was particularly inspired and delighted by her faith and spunk when she went to South America and climbed a mountain at the young age of 84! Even though I didn't know Marie very well or for very long, in the short time I knew she was unforgettable. Her example of trusting God and perseverance will live on right here on earth and into eternity.
