I am so thankful for the many wonderful childhood memories of Aunt Sandy in her home in Wheeling, at McFarland Family events and at our farm in Bartlett. I always loved going to Aunt Sandy's and Uncle Chuck's home in Wheeling because it was fun to play with Scott and Carrie, see Uncle Chuck's train room, look at Aunt Sandy's many treasures (especially her Swan collection) and get spoiled with yummy treats as she always had something sweet to give us. Her cupboard was always full of goodies and she loved spoiling us in that way. She played card games and made crafts with us and we had a ton of fun together during those times. We loved it when Aunt Sandy came to spend time at the farm on Saturdays as she always made us a Texas Chocolate Cake and let us eat as much as we wanted as we played games around the table together. Aunt Sandy was so kind to me as a child, I especially love the times I was able to "sleep over" with Carrie and play with her beautiful doll collection. I will forever treasure those childhood memories for which I am thankful.
