Obituary of Virginia E. Kass

Virginia Elizabeth Kass nee Lechman, age 77, of Buffalo Grove was called home to the Lord on July 28, 2013. Loving wife of the late Kenneth J. Kass Sr. for 56 years. Virginia was born October 10, 1935 in Chicago to John and Susan Lechman. She married the love of her life on June 14, 1952 and together moved to Buffalo Grove in 1962. Virginia was a devoted mother of 6, Kenneth Jr, Deborah (Cory) Snelten, Theresa (David) Wieder, Michael J. (Mary), Diana (Michael) Schroeter and Steven L. Sr. (Katrina). Cherished grandmother of 14, Brian (Kirstin) Snelten, Michelle (Jason) Dobler, Jason, Joseph (Nicole) Schroeter, Nicki (Mike) Lynch, Natalie, Danielle, Bradley, Dusty, Valerie, Steven Jr., Johnny, Cody, Christopher and great-grandmother of 6, Ayden and Gavin Dobler, Avery and Cameron Snelten, Brandon and Derek Schroeter. Visitation Friday 3-8pm at Kolssak Funeral Home 189 S Milwaukee (2 blocks south of Dundee). Funeral Saturday 9:15 Prayers at the funeral home for 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment to follow St. Mary Cemetery.
