Sam G “Sonny” Argiris age 83 of Niles. Beloved husband of Bertha S. (nee Peppas) Argiris for 62 years. Loving father of Dean, Peter, and James Argiris. Dear pappou of Sam (Meghan), Alexandra, and Niko Argiris. Cherished son of the late Gust and Bessie (nee Geroulis) Argiris. Fond brother of the late Anna Argiris. Dear brother in-law of the late William Peppas, Constance (late Thomas) Gekas, and Stella (late John) Cocalis. Uncle and cousin of many. He was a proud member of the Brotherhood of Achladokambiton. Special thanks to Dina who took great care of Sam and our family. Visitation Sunday 2-7 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling and will continue Monday at 10:00 am at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 2701 N Sheffield Ave, Chicago, 60614 followed by funeral service at 10:30 am. The funeral service will be streamed on St. George's Facebook page. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove, IL.
