Gus V. Keramidas age 62 of Prospect Heights, IL. Beloved husband of Vivian (nee Therios) Keramidas for 36 years. Loving dad of Velessarios (Chelsea) Keramidas and Eleni (Nickolas) Tertipis. Dear pappou of Jonathan, Dean, and Nikolaos. Fond brother of Areti (late Thoma) Lazaris. Son in-law of Nick and Jenny Therios, brother-in-law of Aggeliki Therios and Peggy (Gus) Zervas. Uncle, cousin and friend of many. Gus was the son of the late Velessarios and Eleni born on the island of Kalamos, Greece, passed away on March 8th 2021. Gus left his beautiful island at age 14 and came to America – first to Washington DC and then Chicago. Gus will always be remembered for his loving spirit and generosity to many, especially family. His greatest success was in the love shared with his wife, children and grandchildren. They will miss him dearly, but are sustained by the many wonderful memories with and of him. Visitation Thursday 9:30 am at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 133 S. Roselle Road, Palatine, IL., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 am.
