Barton R. “Dick” Brookman, age 82, of Northfield. Loving husband of the late Shiela Brookman. Beloved father of Susan (Jack) Zoellner, Beth (Michael) Royal, Amy (Christopher) Brawand, Bart (Carol) Brookman Jr., Jennifer McGowan, Gregore (Steve) Holzrichter, Tracy (Chip) Butzko and Ashley (Christopher) Austin. Cherished grandfather of Kate, Nick, Jessica, Emily, Jonathan, Natalie, Sarah, Caitlin, David, Katie (Richard), Emily, Maggie, Lindsay, Dani, Sadie, Gannon and Hadley. Dear great-grandfather of Carter and Charlie. Brother of Barbara Wennerstrum. Dick loved to cook, read and dance. He could light up a room with his quick wit and charm.
