Rudolf “Rudy” Lorenz Merz age 81 of Riverwoods, IL. Beloved husband of Jean Merz (nee Dreyer) for 45 years. Loving dad of Jason (Agnieszka) Merz. Dear papa of Milo Rudy and Ava Morgan. Fond brother of Kaethe Maier and the late Werner Merz. Cherished brother in-law of Pat (Ken) Siegesmund, Karen (late Everett) Semrad and the late Richard (Diane) Dreyer and Glenn Dreyer. Uncle and cousin of many.
Memorial Visitation Saturday July 24th at 1:00 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling followed by a Life Celebration Service at 4:00 pm. Inurnment Private. In lieu of flowers donations to North Northfield United Methodist Church, 797 Sanders Rd, Northbrook, IL 60062 or Holy Cross Catholic Church, 724 Elder Ln, Deerfield, IL 60015 are greatly appreciated.
