Anna May Cernek nee Aslan, age 93, of Glenview. Loving wife of Thomas Patrick Cernek for 64 years. Devoted mother of Jeffrey Thomas (Kierston), Craig Thomas (Mireille), and Christopher Ernest Cernek. Cherished grandmother of Paul Thomas (Kaitlyn), Nicholas Anthony (Kathleen), Trevor Dean, Ann Monique, Stephan Ernest, Jamie Evelyn, Gavin Douglas, Alexander Thomas, Derek Daniel, Lindsay Ann, Carly Jean, and Sydney Jacqueline Cernek. Fond aunt of Paula Berger and the late Eric Berger. Anna May was the past president of the Peacock Camp for Exceptional Children. Member of the women’s board of civic opera, attended the Art Institute of Chicago. She loved playing tennis and hosting vacations for the entire family.
