Obituary of Shirley Ann Coil

Shirley Ann (Jodway) Coil, age 85 of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 30, 2021. While unexpected in death, Shirley had a long and full life of love and family. There was no one more beloved and cherished in her life than her only son, Ken (Pam) Jodway and her grandchildren Emily and Allison, who all survive Shirley. Ken’s fondest memories with his mother were the many summers they spent vacationing in De Tour Village in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula surrounded by his many cousins - the children of Shirley’s seven brothers and sisters, along with Papa and Nana - Shirley’s loving parents. She spent the last eight years sharing a home with her sisters (Darlene and Sharon) in Buffalo Grove, where they enjoyed peaceful surroundings, Hallmark movies and the occasional outing to a nearby casino. Shirley is also survived by her sister Sharon Smith and numerous nephews and nieces. All Services Private.
