We are blessed to have known Granny. She exemplified strength, humor, generosity, and love of family. Her door was always open, and everyone was welcome at her table.

Granny,
Never has a person meant so much to so many. You were there for each of us, a grandmother, a fun playmate, a confidante and friend, a caretaker and advisor. This list goes on and on. Our hearts are broken, but there is some comfort knowing you are not in pain anymore, and with Papa and many others. You will live on in our hearts forever. The stories will be told, the food will be shared. Generations from now will be cooking your family recipes. It’s amazing what you and Papa created. 199 strong and growing… We will sit around the table to laugh and to cry. We love you more than words can say, and will miss you more than hearts can bear. My heart is broken without you Mom. I knew someday this would happen and I’m so happy I got to enjoy being with you for 95 years.
