Obituary of Jeffrey T Wagner

Jeffrey Wagner age 63, of Vernon Hills. Beloved husband of Nancy Wagner for 30 years. Loving father of Thomas (Hillary) and Joseph (Ashley) Sheehan, Michael (Elizabeth) and Edward Wagner. Dear grandfather of Patrick. Fond brother of Donald. Uncle, cousin and friend of many. Jeff grew up in Oak Park. He was a graduate of St. Edmund Parish School, Fenwick High School, and Illinois Institute of Technology, where he received his bachelor’s and MBA. Jeff spent his career working on developing cutting edge IT and business systems in the telecommunications and pharmaceutical industries. He retired from Abbott Labs but continued to consult in the pharmaceutical industry. Jeff loved comics and comic book movies, music especially the Beatles, musical theater, camping with his childhood friends and traveling with his family, karate, volleyball, fencing, tennis, watching football, video games, model building and creative repurposing of antique furniture. He shared each of these passions in full with his children, wife, and friends. A private celebration of life will be held with family and friends.
