Larry Lynn Hillerud age 74 of Arlington Heights. Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Mathe) Hillerud for 53 years. Loving dad of Dawn (Larry) Mohr and Kristie (Charlie) Harmke. Dear Bumpbine of Kyle (Brandi), Kevin (Erin), Kaitlyn, Kiley, Caleb and Calvin. Great Bumpbine of Dylan. Cherished son Ardelle and the late Stener “Short” Hillerud. Fond brother of Marsha Yoder, Laurie (Jerry) Grosz, Becky (Larry) Johnson, David (Karla) Hillerud, Danny (Mary) Hillerud, Lonny (Bonnie) Hillerud, and Trent Hillerud. Uncle, cousin and friend of many. He was a partner of SLS Promotions and Promoter of World of Outlaws Sprint Car Racing.
Visitation Sunday June 12th 12-5 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling, IL and will continue Monday morning at 9:00 am followed by an 11:00 am Life Celebration Service. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights, IL. In lieu of flowers donations to World of Outlaws Benevolent Fund, 19313 US Hwy 69 S, Flint, TX 75762 will be greatly appreciated.
