Donald Edward Shilvock age 93 born in Chicago on October 21, 1928, was a resident of The Kenwood by Senior Star in Cincinnati, Ohio for approximately the last 3 years. He lived most of his life in Chicago and Glenview, IL. Graduated Lane Technical High School. Served in Korea 5th regiment combat RCT 24th division Army as a heavy gunner. He was the owner and operator with his brother and family of Shilvock Plumbing Supply Co. in Chicago working till age 87. Member of the Graybeards, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Moose Lodge, and a very loyal Chicago Cubs Fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Mildred Shilvock, and his wife of 50 years Donna Shilvock. He is survived by his daughter Karen Shilvock-Cinefro (John), seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Donations to Veterans of Foreign Wars appreciated. Visitation Friday 10am until a 11am Life Celebration service at Kolssak Funeral Home 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. Wheeling, IL. Interment to follow in Arlington Cemetery Elmhurst, IL.
