Cheryl Ann Ratner, age 75 of Highland Park. Born October 20, 1947, passed away on October 22, 2022. Beloved wife of Randy Ratner. Loving mother of Melissa (Bryon), Derek, Adam (Debbie), Vanessa (Dan), Tiffany, Laura (Joe), Wade (Gina), and the late Ryan. Cherished grandmother of Ben (Liv), Jake, Dylan, Luke, Olivia, Joey, Zack, Laila, Taylor, MaKenna, Shane, Paxson, Carter, Goldie. Adored sister of Linda (Ken), Eileen (Art), Ricky, Johnny (Kathy), Tommy (Peggy), Marcy (Pat), Carrie, and the late Tony (Jackie). Aunt of Garon, Shawna, Toni, Samantha, Brandon, Marissa, Paige, Ryan, Mason, Payton, Devan, Parker. Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Anthony Geslicki. Loving friend to many. We lost the matriarch of our family. Our Queen Bee. After a very private fight against cancer, it finally got the best of her. Words cannot express the hole this leaves in our world. A giant crater left behind that will never be able to be filled. Our hearts are all broken. She was a force to be reckoned with. So strong willed, a fighter until the very end. Memorial visitation will be held at the Ratner home, Friday, October 28th from 12 pm to 8 pm. Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, October 29th 10:30 am followed by an 11:30 am service at The Lincolnshire Marriott.
