Louis William Ferrara August 27,1923-October 30, 2022 Beloved husband, for 70 years, of Margaret nee Griffin. Loving father of William (Joan) Ferrara, Mary Lou (Matt) Crost, Karen (Terry) Crowley, Kevin (Colleen) Ferrara, Ann Marie (Jerry) Higgins, and Raymond Ferrara. Proud grandfather of Mitch (Lauren) Crost, Dan Crost, Jon (Lisa) Crost, Kelly (Rob) Hack, Kate Ferrara, Mary (Paul) Donatelli, Ryan (Tia) Ferrara, Sean (Roxanne) Crowley, Kyle (Michele) Crowley, Brendon Crowley, Michael Crowley, Connor Higgins, William Higgins, and Tyler. Dearest great-grandfather of 23. Loving son of the late William and Angeline Ferrara. Dear brother of Rosemary (Ed) Golemba and the late Mary (Pete & Tony) DiSilvestro-Abate and Jack(Darlene) Ferrara. Uncle of 32 nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday 11/13/2022 3:00-7:00PM at Kolssak Funeral Home 189 S. Milwaukee Avenue, Wheeling(2 blocks South of Dundee Road). Family and friends will gather Monday for visitation 9:30-10:15AM at St Alphonsus Liguori Church 411 North Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights Mass 10:30 AM. Lou worked at International Minerals and Chemical Corporation, was a Consultant for Profile Products LLC, avid bridge player, gardener and dancer, and coached many sports. in lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association act.laz.org.
