I'm just finding out, Dan is gone. I was getting a new laptop at work and I mentioned how Dan is one of my favorite people in IT and I was told that he transitioned from this life. Forever my good-hearted friend. RIP

Dan,
It was a honor working with you for 5 1/2 years. The news of your passing was a shock. You were by far the fairest person that I ever met. When my mom passed away you said to me that if I need a ear to talk to that I can count on you. I enjoyed talking Michigan football with you. Thank you for everything that you done for me.
Вічна пам'ять.... Which means Eternal Memory in Ukrainian.
Your friend always,
Wally

Danny. I miss you terribly. You’ve left a hole in the heart of many, a huge hole in mine. Thank you for being the best big brother to me and the greatest uncle to our girls. Life will never be the same without you. I will forever miss your smile, your hugs and hearing your voice. I will miss you joining us at early morning soccer games, family game days, Michigan trips, every holiday, pool days, fests and concerts, and every day in between. I’m grateful for 47 years of countless memories. Grateful to have had you as one of my very best friends. Grateful the girls had your love and that you had theirs. Thank you for taking such good care of us and spoiling us through all the years. I promise to take care of mom and dad just as you would want. I love you, Danny. You’re forever in our hearts.

Danny. No matter how old we are, losing a cherished friend, co-worker, and family member like you is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. Your goodness, your caring way, and your wisdom will live on like a legacy of love that will always be with us. And just as you comforted so many during your full, but short life, may our memories of you surround us all now and bring us peace. We all were extremely lucky to have had you in our lives. Godspeed to you Dan! Rest in peace, my friend!

Dan was one of my oldest friends, us having known each other since 2nd grade. I have so many memories of hanging out with Dan through the years as we grew from grade school to high school til his last week. We spent hours building legos as kids, many more hours listening to CDs on his stereo or going to the movies as teenagers, and even more years staying up late working on homework together deep into the night as we were in all the same classes. Dan will tell you he earned my English award for Wheeling (partially true) even while he never hesitated to copy my math test answers as early as junior high (also true). And even though our paths diverged after I moved to California, we always kept in touch, making sure to make time for a pizza or drink when I returned back. Through out our friendship, Dan was always fast to laugh with his deep chuckle, quick witted with his wicked humor, incredibly smart with an encyclopedic memory (especially when it came to anything about our childhood), and always eager to show everyone his latest hobby, whether it was books or legos as a kid, to cigars, whiskeys and board games as an adult. He was sincere, kind, gentle hearted and a dear old friend. I'm going to miss Dan deeply,

Dan, Words cannot express the void we feel knowing you are gone. Your comforting smile, humor and laugh, your willingness to help others and your continued support along the way, made you the man we knew and loved. You will be missed each and every day. God must have a purpose for you in heaven because I can’t figure out why you have been taken away from us so soon. Thank you for being a friend, train companion, coworker, and for being there when I needed your help and expertise. My deepest condolences go out to those you left behind. May your loved ones find peace and healing in knowing what a genuinely great person you were.

Rest in peace Dan! We worked together for so many years back at OPC, since far back when it was WHQ. All those years you were always such a pleasure to work with, I consider myself lucky to get to work with you, know you and consider you a friend. Always ready and happy to help, a pleasure to be around. It's so sad to say goodbye. Sincere condolence to the family, such a devastating loss.

Dan where do I even begin…I’m still in disbelief that this is even true. This has been the hardest week in the office for all of us. I can’t even go by your desk without seeing you there with your smirk as we all cracked jokes at each other. I have nothing but great memories of you and feel so lucky to have worked with you throughout the years. You were always putting everyone first and had such a great view on life! You brought such a calm to our crazy office family. We will miss you dearly!

Dan has been my friend since third grade. We were assigned as pen pals before our elementary schools merged. I remember he included a hand drawn map of the solar system in one of his letters. Since then, we have never lost touch. Dan's hilariously creative sense of humor and positive outlook never changed throughout the years. We've lost one of the best. You will be sorely missed, my friend.

A lot of great memories of Dan when I was younger. Same age as my older brotber and all of us used to hang out. The fort in the backyard and smoke bomb wars were the best. So sorry to hear of this, too young to leave us. I hope the good memories everyone has helps ease the pain during this difficult time. Thank you Dan for being another big brother to me when we are all growing up. You are in my thoughts.
