Robert L Homan age 88 of Buffalo Grove. Beloved husband of Dorothy nee Chmela for 62 years. Loving Father of Roberta, Loretta and Susan. Dear grandfather of Jackie, Alexis, Angel and Katy. Great-Grandfather of Alicia, Alexis, Aiden, Michael and Alexander. Fond Brother of Margaret, Frances and the late Katherine, Dolores and Jean. Cherished Uncle of many. Bob was a member of Operating Engineers Local 150 for 50 years. In his free time he loved to fish, hunt, garden and can. His family wishes to gratefully thank the staff of Journey Care Hospice in Barrington for their compassionate care. A pre-celebration will begin at 9:30 am Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove, IL followed by a Life Celebration Mass at 10:00 am. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
