Obituary of Robert J. Heer

Robert J. Heer, 58, of Wheeling. Beloved husband of Cathy nee Trunda. Loving father of Nick (Michelle), Andy and Kaitlyn Heer. Dear Grandpa Bert of Seamus and Jameson. Fond brother of Sr. Kathleen Heer SLW, Tom (Patti), Mary, John, Danny (Leanne), Michael (Carrie), Joe Heer and Betty (late Floyd) Freeze. Cherished Brother in-law, Uncle and Cousin of many. Bob served his community as a Buffalo Grove Police Officer for 33 years and as a Village of Wheeling Trustee since 1995. His greatest role was that of an active father always putting his family first. Even in death Bob gave unselfishly to make “Christmas Miracles” a reality to the many organ recipients. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2- 8 pm at Wheeling Village Hall, 2 Community Boulevard, Wheeling, IL. Life Celebration Mass Tuesday 11:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 181 W.
