Robert Hermes age 83 of Prairie View. Beloved husband of Shirley nee Cendt for 57 years. Loving Dad of Cindy (Bill) Egan, Kathleen (Aaron) Bossow, Michael (Linda) Hermes, Judy (Dan) Kalb, Mark (Vicki) Hermes and David (Nena) Hermes. Dear grandpa of 18 great grandpa of 12. Fond brother of Fred (Kittye) Hermes, Mary (Jim) Emmerich and late James Hermes. Uncle of many. He was preceded by his parents Henry and Mary (nee Didier) Hermes, son Steven (infant), daughter-in-law Cathy (Esser) Hermes and grandson Michael Hermes.
Funeral Prayers Saturday 9:15 am at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling for a 10 am Life Celebration Mass at St. Mary Buffalo Grove. Interment Private. Visitation Friday 3-8 pm.
