Betty J. Barrie, lifetime Wheeling resident. Beloved wife of the late Gordon. Loving Mother of James (Janet), John, Mary Reuter, Ruth (Bill) Kroepil, David (Jeanette), Daniel (Peggy), Thomas (Annalisa) and Naomi (Jack) Dempsey. Grandmother of 23, Great Grandmother of 40 and Great Great Grandmother of 4.
Betty volunteered her time to the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, AmVets Auxillary, PADS, Blood Drives, Wheeling Historical Society, Senior Centers and Veterans Hospital.
Visitation Monday 3-8 PM at Kolssak Funeral Home 189 S. Milwaukee Ave (2 blocks s. of Dundee) Wheeling. Life Celebration Service Tuesday 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers please make any donations to a Veterans charity of your choice.
