LaVerne Gunderson, 85, of Northbrook. Loving husband of Gertrude. Beloved father of Mike (JoAnne), Pamela and the late Cheryl. Cherished grandfather of Joseph and Anthony. Dear brother of Carol, Judy and the late Robert. Fond uncle and cousin of many. Visitation Monday 4-7pm at Kolssak Funeral Home 189 S Milwaukee Ave (2 blocks South of Dundee). Burial Private. LaVerne grew up in Whitehall Wisconsin, proudly served in the Korean War and was a Police Officer in Northbrook for 25 years.
