Richard “Dick” Goerne age 75 of Wheeling formerly of Park Ridge. Beloved husband of Carol nee Peterson for 26 years. Loving step-father of Grant (Leslie) and Eric Prellwitz. Dear brother of Gail (Richard) Paus. Fond uncle of many. Dick worked for the USPS for 39 years and a volunteer usher for “The Saints.” Life Celebration Service Saturday 10 am at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling. Inurnment Private. Visitation Friday 3-8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer’s Association at www.ALZ.org appreciated.
