Shirley N. Melander age 85 of Lincolnshire. Cherished Sweetheart for 40 years to the late Alvin A Chess. Beloved Aunt of Dan (Lynette) Melander, Bruce (Betty) Melander, Sharon (Terry) Dickerson, Robert (Maureen) Moore, Judith (David) Lynch, Kenneth (Linda) Melander, Rick (Susan) Melander, Linda Flentye, Edward (Jeanine) Melander and Patty (Kjell) Erickson and the late Eddie Melander. Great Aunt of many. Shirley was a purchasing agent for Van Straaten Chemicals in Chicago, and an officer of Svithiod Lodge #1. Visitation Sunday 1-5pm at Kolssak Funeral Home 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South Dundee Road) Life Celebration Service Sunday 3pm. Cremation Private. In lieu of flowers donations to the Svithiod College Scholarship Program, 5518 West Lawrence Ave. Chicago, IL. 60630 would be appreciated.
