Obituary of Irene D. Schillinger

Irene D. Schillinger, age 92, of Arlington Heights. Peacefully joined her Lord and Savior on September 27, 2014. Fond sister of the late William (LaVerne) Schillinger and the late Bernice (the late Louis) DiPierre. Dear aunt of Ronald (Beverly) Schillinger and the late Bonnie Willet. Irene is also survived by dear friends. Irene was a kind and dedicated teacher, who shared her passion for piano with a vast number of students over many years. She traveled home to home to share her knowledge and expertise. She retired from teaching in 2002. She was a long-time active member of Living Christ Lutheran Church, participating in Bible study, Meals on Wheels, and sick calls. She was also a volunteer at the Lutheran Home and served over 2700 hours. Visitation Saturday 9:30am until a 10:30am Life Celebration Service at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S.
