Obituary of Lynn E. Dubow

Lynn E. Dubow, nee Ely, 58, of Buffalo Grove, died unexpectedly on January 25, 2014. She was married to Michael for 38 years, and they have one daughter Stephanie, soon to be married to Andrew J. Goldie. Lynn also leaves behind her sister, Laurie Ely, mother-in-law, Phyllis Dubow, sister and brother-in-law Marlene and Harold Nations, her nieces and nephews Meredith (Adam) Bernard, Garrett and Caitlin Meade, and Elizabeth, Stuart, Thomas and Lisa Nations, countless friends and her beloved dog, Lucy. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather Karen and Richard Macali, and her father William Ely. Lynn and Michael shared a life filled with love, family and friends. Her kindness, generosity and sense of humor will be missed by those who she loved, and those who loved her. Donations may be made in Lynn’s honor to the Anti-Cruelty Society. Memorial visitation Thursday at 3pm followed by a 4pm service at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd, in Buffalo Grove. Arrangements entrusted to Kolssak Funeral Home.
