Obituary of Stanley Bellis

Stanley K. Bellis 82, loving man with a quiet soul found peace on January 19, 2014. Born January 30, 1931 in Kavala, Greece to the late Savas and Cleopatra Koutsoubelis. He is survived by his love Elani Deska, his children Mary (James) Moran, Paulette (Robert) Gussarson-Pera, Stanley K. (Sarah) Bellis Jr. and Stephen T. Bellis. Proud Papou to grandchildren Candice Bellis and Megan & Sarah Moran. He was a fond uncle of Estelle and Connie and a great uncle to many. He is survived by sisters Nikki Koutsoubelis and Georgia Foutoulakis. He is preceded in death by his brother George Koutsoubelis and Evelyn Pappas Bellis. Stanley was long-time resident of Buffalo Grove and retired owner of Buffalo Grove Cleaners, a tailor, Mason and U.S. Army Veteran. His life was his family. He loved to cook, fish, garden and paint. Visitation Wednesday 4pm followed by a Life Celebration Service at 7:30 at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling. Interment Private.
