Edgar “Ed” Mitchell age 95 of Wheeling formerly of Kansas City, MO. Beloved husband of the late Gloria Dorothy Mitchell nee Mittenberg. Loving father of Joyce Ann (Ken) Downs and Debra (Patrick) Fox. Dear grandfather of Jeremy Downs, Jimmy (Jordon) Downs, Lindsay Fox and Conor Fox. Great grandfather of Hayley, Zachery, Ashton, Bella, Blake, Kendra, Bailey and Bridgette Downs . Fond brother of Hazel (late John “June”) Cornine, R.W. (Bernadine) Mitchell, Jean (late J.M.) Sims and the late Edith (late Nathan) Wright. Uncle and great uncle of many.
Life Celebration Services will be privately held in Wheeling, IL. Interment private. A Life Celebration Service will also be held in Marshall, MO for family and friends in June.
