Obituary of Achim Zgirdea

Beloved husband and father Achim "Adi" Zgirdea passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. He devoted his life to his wife, Olivera, and his daughter, Adriana. He loved his work as a mechanical engineer, and was always working on something with his hands. He was passionate about cars, hiking, travel and fashion, the last of which he shared with his daughter, who made her career in fashion. He was spontaneous and full of life, as much of a city lover as he was comfortable camping in nature. He had a great sense of humor and wit about him, and he touched the lives of so many around him. He will be forever missed and loved. 

Achim Zgirdea age 57 of Wauconda. Loving husband to Olivera nee Stochin. Cherished father to Adriana Zgirdea. Adored brother in law to Bogdan Stochin. Loved son in law of Olga and Ioan Stochin. Dedicated employee of SMW Autoblok in Wheeling, IL. Respected and loved by many.
