To Sonja and the Fitchie/Willie Family:
So sorry to hear about the death of Paul Fitchie. We were childhood friends and even though we lost touch after high school, I always considered Paul a dear friend. Paul had an uncanny way of making you laugh and making life more interesting. My life is so much richer for knowing Paul. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I wish that I could be there for the services (I live in NC now). I pray that God would comfort his wife Sonja and his family members during this time. All my love to the Fitchie's and Willie Family.

I've known Harpo for a long time worked with him at his time with the village of Schaumburg. He was a good man hard worker and my friend. God father to my daughter. I will never forget him and my time shared. He would pick you up when you were down. I will miss my friend.

My name is Myra Walker, I worked with Paul for a short while but it seemed as if we had known each other for years when he was employed with Nationwide Acceptance LLC.. One of the kindest men you would ever know; sweet, concerning, caring and always smiling never wanting to see you sad.We had the pleasure of working together when he came to Las Vegas to train a staff employee; he was so excited when we went to the Oyster Bar for Gumbo, he mentioned he would let his wife know that one day they have to come back to Las Vegas and have Gumbo. Paul you will be missed dearly, my condolences to your loving wife Sonja Fitche and Family.
Until we meet again may you rest with the Angels.

Sonja, we are heart broken by this. Our neighborhood will never be the same without Paul. My favorite memories are of Paul and I following each other in morning going to work when I worked on the other side of Elgin. I really missed seeing him in the morning and now of course we will miss him even more. Most cherished memory will be the last time we talked to him when he stopped by and thanked us for the card we gave you guys about your dog Clutch. He said he loved us and truly appreciated the card. Try and take comfort that they are together. I am so thankful that the last time we saw him we hugged each other... Our love and prayers are with you always.

To the family of Paul Fitchie,
I never had the opportunity to meet Paul in person but had lots of e mails and phone calls over the past few months.
I nicknamed him Paulie Walnuts from the Sopranos as he called me Pesci because of my NY Accent...
We corresponded late Friday evening wishing each other Merry XMAS etc...
My family and my Crystal Clean family here in Long Island send our heartfelt condolences on this tragic loss..

Sonja, our hearts are with you. One of my favorite memories of Paul is the standing joke of who beats who to mow the lawn and his joking of letting the grass grow to the waist so he could run around the yard in his underwear. To know Paul was to love Paul. From first meeting the both of you, you and your family made us feel like family, as you became part of our family. We feel that not only have we lost a great friend and neighbor but one of our family members. Paul will be in our hearts and memories always. Sonja, you, your family and Paul's family will always be part of us and part of our family. We love you all and will always be here for you.
