My mother, June Norden Narusis were best friends with Elaine since grade school days. June turned 100 on February 11th 2021 and sadly passed away on March 20th 2021. I take solace in knowing that Elaine, as my mom always called her are together in God’s glorious kingdom at peace, where there is no more pain, sickness, tears or death.

Living as neighbors for probably 50 years or more, I'm so glad I've gotten to know your mom even better these last 4 years or so. I never realized before, her humor, wit, wisdom and her love for our Lord and Savior. When taking our mom to visit her friend, Elaine, I too looked forward to our visits as I knew I'd have some laughter that day & I'd come home learning something new about your mom. She was a hoot and as sharp as a tack. I'm so thankful to your mom for the friendship she continued to have with our mom, Marian. As it has become more difficult for our mom to pick up the phone and talk to people, Elaine made sure to keep in touch with mom on a regular basis. She always was able to give mom a good laugh. She was a good friend, who mom too, will miss dearly. I'm so sorry we were not able to visit Elaine in the recent weeks but we know we will see her again someday in our heavenly home. My mother (June Norden Narusis), who is 96 and Lord willing will be 97 on February 11, where best friends. My mom knew her by her middle name (Elaine) since at least their high school days. I often hear my mom talk to me of how years gone by, on school mornings, Elaine would come by where my mom lived and say "Junie, it's time to go to school." They walked to school together as best friends many, many times. My heart felt prayers of peace and grace to all of Elaine's family during their time of grief. It's never easy. I remember recently she called my mom and they spoke on the phone.. My mom has so many fond memories of her best friend, Elaine. HShe will be missed. .
