Obituary of Carol J. Paulson

Carol J. Paulson age 66 of Arlington Heights.  Carol FINALLY passed peacefully at home as she wished. She wants us all to be at peace with her. 

“First and foremost a huge thank you to my beloved husband Michael, for standing beside me in my decision to pass as I wish, at home on my terms, my way with only him beside me.  I was not a perfect person.  I hurt many people I shouldn’t have, but I have tried to make amends and move on.   I wish only happiness for all.

I leave behind my husband Michael, sister Sophie (late Don) Zellak, brother Peter (Rosemary) Prodyma, Sister Kathy (late Joe) Speciale, my deceased sister Mickey (Pat) Salach, my deceased God son Daniel and my other nieces, nephews and family members. An extra special thank you to Steve, Joyce, Karlene, Nina and Greg for their understanding love and support during my journey.  Michael had always made me feel LOVED, TRUSTED, SECURE, SAFE and SUPPORTED beyond question.  Michael let me be me.  When others might have walked away he stood by my side.  Everybody should have a Michael.  I wanted to do good in my life, not always accomplished, but I tried.  I wanted to leave my world better than I found it.  It has taken me many years to realize my truth wasn’t your truth, my beliefs weren’t your beliefs, but my life was my life.”
