Obituary of Peter Loughlin

Peter Austin Loughlin age 93 of Buffalo Grove.  Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” Jane nee Young for 66 years. Loving father of Pete (Dawn), Terry, Kathy (Jerry Alberte) Loughlin , Mary Beth (Neil) Schaye. Dear Papa of Clara and Etta. Peter was raised in Oswego New York. Peter proudly served his country during WWII in the US Army Pacific Theater. After the war Peter studied chemical engineering and graduated from Syracuse University in 1951. He began his career with Raytheon, worked for several companies advancing his career and retired from Siemens. After retirement Peter and Betty traveled extensively throughout the US and Canada. Peter also enjoyed traveling internationally with his children.

A private Life Celebration Service will be held at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling. Interment private at Abraham Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Edna Catholic Church Outreach Programs at 2525 N Arlington Heights Rd. Arlington Heights, IL 60004 appreciated.
