Obituary of Bruce "Bud" Vance

Bruce “Bud” Vance, 76 of Buffalo Grove, died peacefully on Tuesday October 16th.  Beloved husband of Pauline (nee Guth) Vance for 54 years.  Loving father of Doreen (Tom) Potter, Joanne (Dave) Greenbaum, Paul Vance and Karen (Jim) Lazaro. Cherished grandfather of Emily, Evan, Anna, Abigail, Justin, Grace, Vincent, Danielle, Jonah, Connor, Andrea and Dominic.  Dear brother of Thomas Dominic Vance and B. William “Bill” (Sandy) Vance. Fond brother-in-law of Fred (Renate) and Greg (Sandy) and Don Guth. Adored uncle and friend to many. Past employee of Hollister Inc. and past president and director of Lauderdale Lakes Improvement Association. He was a proud captain of his boat.

Visitation Friday 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10 North Buffalo Grove, Road, Buffalo Grove followed by an 11 am Life Celebration Mass.  Interment St. Mary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association at https://phassociation.org/donate/ are appreciated.
