Daniel Schmelzer age 62 of Northbrook. Loving husband of Stacy Schmelzer nee Kirk for 20 years. Beloved son of Betty and the late Louis Schmelzer. Cherished brother of Sherry (Scott) Reese and Dean (Diane) Schmelzer. Brother-in-law of Harry Kirk. Adored uncle of Chad Reese, Erica Zipp, and Lindsey Haischer. Loving great uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.

Memorial visitation Tuesday 10 am at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S Milwaukee Ave (2 Blocks South of Dundee Rd) Wheeling, followed by a life celebration service at 12 pm. Inurnment private.
