Grandma, Any words I can say to describe the light you brought into each and every one of our lives would not do it any justice. Creative, hilarious, caring, giving, kind, sassy, elegant, intelligent- it’s just not enough. I will always remember our big celebrations every Christmas and the laughter that always came. But, it’s the little things are the most special: Brushing my bangs to the side so you could see my face, blowing kisses over the phone every time we talked, coming to grandparent’s Day when I was in elementary school. But my most favorite memories were helping you at the counter at Randhurst mall. In my heart, I can always carry moments where everyone will tell all of us how wonderful you truly are and a story that brings a smile to their eyes. You are a treasure that we are so blessed to have had here on this Earth. Heaven’s laughter just got a little louder this week. All the angels seated at the poker table will have no idea how truly special you are. I’m going to miss you every single day but I know that you are here with us smiling and celebrating. Thank you for everything Grandma, I love you to the moon and back.

I first met Joyce around 1999 at the Wheeling Fitness Club. She was always full of energy and gave me motivation at check-in to hit the machines and get in a good workout. Could you have imagined if I didn't? She'd of called me out, on the spot! Never had I met someone, a total stranger, who left such a positive impression on me in such a public place each and every time. Fast forward 2 years, and I end up meeting one of my greatest lifelong friends thru work, her daughter Jan. God doesn't make mistakes and I've been beyond blessed having both Jan and Joyce in my life. I see so much of Joyce in her daughter's and grandkids. Her stories, sense of humor and laugh were infectious and unforgettable. She created quite a legacy with her 3 daughters. Strength, humor, intelligence and wit. God bless you Joyce! There are so many great memories of my aunt who's laugh I can still hear vividly in my head. A memory that sticks out though is her necklace. You know, the one she had made from the emblem of her Chevrolet. Such an upbeat person; we're all going to miss her. Love, Dawn
