Obituary of Ronald Leonard Grandt

Ronald Leonard Grandt, age 76, of Round Lake. Passed away September 21, 2013 after a long journey and complications from ALS. Loving husband of Barbara nee Massa for 57 years. Loving and proud father of Sandy (the late George) Smedinghoff, Sheryl Grandt and Diane (Greg) Fox. Adoring grandpa of Jarod Fox, Mark and Kimmie Smedinghoff. Son of the late Henry and Helena (Kerschke) Grandt. Brother of Dorothea (late Elmer) Lemke, Esther (late Bernhardt) Koeppen, the late Norman (Elfrieda), Herbert (Lauretta), Elmer (Ruth), Mabel Grandt and Bertha (Walter) Schmidt. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews and his companion Lucky. Visitation Wednesday 3-8pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave (2 blocks south of Dundee Rd.) Wheeling. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Life celebration service Thursday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
